AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Travel Specialist (Based in Singapore)

Role Purpose:

To clinch bookings from enquiries from all sources; service the clients and handle tour operations of the bookings.

Responsibilities:

  • To handle all enquiries from all different sources with the aim of clinching the bookings;
  • To service the clients after the bookings according to company’s SOP to ensure the required standard of service;
  • To handle all aspects of the tour operations in accordance of with the company’s SOP so as to facilitate Finance operation and other statistical analysis required;
  • To follow-up after the clients return from the tour to gather feedback and practice where next call. Feedback should be organized and relay to product team.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in any marketing activities

Reporting Relationship

  • Report to Travel Manager

Requirements

  • Experience in Travel agency preferred;
  • Passion for travel & travel knowledge;

The Travel Specialist position is for Singapore or Singapore PR only.

Head of IT (Based in Singapore)

Role Purpose:

To upgrade our IT capabilities to achieve greater efficiency, better customer experiences and ensure accurate information for our analysis and management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Central Travel reservation and integration
  • To manage our Central Travel reservation system.
  • To work with the management all offices Singapore / HK / China as well as HQ to ensure processes and system are in aligned.
  • To integrate our Sales / Marketing / Product / Financial processes and information with the system.
  • Continuously upgrade the capabilities and efficiency of our usage of the system.
  1. Support our new business initiatives and ensure any new processes and system continue to be integrated to our central travel reservation system
  • CRM and Club Management.
  • New customer interface.
  1. Introduce use of AI into our processes
  2. Integrate China into the company’s IT system.
  3. Management
  • Understand the company’s business needs and processes and ensure IT plan supports.
  • Budget Management
  1. Oversight of IT infrastructure including cybersecurity
  2. Constantly seeking upgrade.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reporting to COO

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT management role.
  • Ability to understand business requirements.
  • Project management skills.
  • Dynamic an altitude of constantly upgrading.

Product Manager – Cruise, Train & Supplier Relationship (Based in Singapore / Hong Kong)

Role Purpose:

To grow IJ’s cruises / trains business and manage all other supplier’s relationship for better support of IJ’s marketing, sales & service results.

Responsibilities:

Cruises & Trains:To develop a comprehensive plan to grow our IJ cruise business and establish IJ’s preeminent position in the high-end market.

  • To negotiate with the cruises / trains to maximize commissions, marketing support and staffs’ training / fam trips.
  • To manage all our cruises / trains products including presentation on websites and Travel reservation system
  • To train all sales on cruises / trains
  • To work with marketing to promote any cruise / train products

Hotels, DMCs and other suppliers

  • To constantly review & analyse our business volumes to our suppliers and make recommendation according to our business requirements & supplier’s service quality. Make recommendations to direct our business accordingly.
  • Manage and develop select suppliers’ relationship to:
  1. Ensure & improve quality of service provided to us.
  2. Build a mutually meaningful relationship in terms of rates, marketing support and training / fam trips.

Working with others in products:

  • Work closely with Product of itinerary planning on:
  1. Choice of suppliers’ relationship for Rates & services.
  2. Regular feedback.

Working with marketing

  • To work with marketing on suppliers’ support for our initiatives / projects

Working with Sales

  • To gather feedback from the Sales Team on the suppliers.
  • Managing sales staff channelling of businesses.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • To be part any ad hoc product and marketing projects.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reporting to Product Director

Requirements

  • Cruise experiences.
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
