Surrounded by two of Africa’s great lakes, the Indian Ocean, and Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania is paradise with sun-filled days that end with cool nights.

Adjacent to the Masai Mara in Kenya, Serengeti hosts the vast ecosystem of Serengeti National Park. See the population of wildebeests, gazelle, zebra, and antelope nest or find them migrate up North in June.

World’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera is the Ngorongoro Crater. The densest lion population rests along the 20km wide crater, and at the rim, leopards, elephants, reedbuck, and buffalos abound.

Set foot onto an island adventure at the cultural cross-roads of Zanzibar Archipelago where the Indian Ocean meets Africa. With the island’s lush history, set sight and explore Stone Town, a vibrant UNESCO acclaimed city and saunter through Zanzibar’s fishing villages to its pristine and idyllic beaches for a relaxing experience.

Comprising of 3 distinct volcanic cones is Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa standing at 5895m above sea level. Enjoy the summit view and the volcanic chain of Rift Valley.

Best Time to Visit

June to October is the dry season in Tanzania and if the wildebeest migration is a major decision to travel, the river crossing happens between July and October and would be the best time to visit.

At around February, the calving season starts and is one of the spectacular times to visit, with excellent game action all the way through April.

For those planning a trek to Mt Kilimanjaro, August to October is the main trekking season with clear days and relatively warm weather. End December to mid-March is another good season, as the weather is reasonable, not too cold, not too wet.
