Flight: Alta Floresta – Cuiaba

You will be transferred approximately 3.5 hours from Cuiaba airport to your accommodation.

Pantanal stands as Earth’s largest expanse of tropical wetlands and flooded grasslands. Here, nature reigns supreme, offering sanctuary to a mesmerizing array of wildlife living amongst at least 12 identified subregional ecosystems. Every corner of the Pantanal holds the promise of adventure and discovery, inviting discerning travelers to witness the wonders of this pristine wilderness.

Though nature’s whims may surprise with its unpredictability, we have selected a strategic location alongside the serene banks of the Pixaim River, where you will enjoy unparalleled access to Pantanal’s impressive biodiversity.

Common sightings include the elusive ocelot, the captivating black-and-gold howler monkeys, as well as the charming jabiru storks. Close encounters with capybaras, giant river otters and caimans may also be possible, with the occasional toco toucans and diverse avian species gracing the skies.

You will be transferred approximately 100 minutes to Porto Jofre, followed by a boat transfer for approximately 45 minutes to your accommodation in the Piquiri River.

Flowing gracefully through the heart of the Pantanal, the Piquiri River meanders through expansive wetlands and lush forests deeper into the more secluded corners of Pantanal. Navigating its gentle currents offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of aquatic and land life that thrives along its shores. It is this abundance of life that draws the elusive jaguars to prowl along the alluring Piquiri River.

Every mornings and afternoons, you will hop onboard your boat to navigate along the intricate channels of the Piquiri River in pursuit of jaguars, giant otters, capybaras, caimans, hyacinth macaws and a myriad of other awe-inspiring creatures that call this vibrant ecosystem home.

Transfer: Hotel to Airport

From your accommodation, you will be transferred approximately 1 hour by boat to Porto Jofre. Thereafter, you will be transferred approximately 4 hours by road to the Cuiaba airport.

Flight: Cuiaba – Sao Paulo

You will be transferred to your accommodation. Allow yourself to unwind for a night, reflecting on the indelible memories you have gathered during your times in the wilderness of Amazon and Pantanal, before continuing on your flight home or onwards to your next destination.
