Arrival in Manaus

Manaus is the capital of the vast state of Amazonas, situated on the banks of the Negro River in northwestern Brazil. On arrival in Manaus, we will embark on a visit to the remarkable Manaus Opera House, also known as the Amazon Theatre.

Later, head to the tall canopy tower in the 25,000-acre Federal Biological Reserve on the edge of the city, climb to the top for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding nature.

Amazon Pink River Dolphins

Set out on a boat trip towards Anavilhanas National Park. Spot the wild pink river dolphins, also known as the boto, in transparent, tannin-tinted waters. The Amazon pink river dolphin is the largest and smartest out of the five freshwater species. Proceed to visit an indigenous village where Amazonian Indian tribe lives.

Amazonian Science Forest Discovery

Manaus, located in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, is home to a diverse array of monkey species. Get ready for a wildlife adventure as we set foot into the Science Forest to scout for beautiful primates, such as the Golden-faced Saki Monkeys, Pied Tamarin Monkeys, and Squirrel Monkeys.

Go on a boat excursion of about 2.5 hours to witness a natural phenomenon known as the Meeting of Waters, where the Rio Negro, a blackwater river, meets the Rio Solimões, a muddy river, flowing side by side for several kilometers without immediately mixing, creating a stark visual contrast.

Amazon Adventure Continues

This morning, continue discovery of more mammal biodiversity and keep an eye out for the Woolly Monkeys and Sloths.

After lunch, transfer to Manaus Airport for your domestic flight to Brasília.

Transfer to Brasilia Airport for your flight to Campo Grande. Upon arrival, a 4-hour road trip brings you to your three-night accommodation in the vast Pantanal wetlands, a luxury eco-lodge renowned for its wildlife conservation and immersive nature experiences.

Pantanal Exploration

Pantanal is the Earth’s largest expanse of tropical wetlands and flooded grasslands. Hop on to a 4×4 open vehicle for a safari adventure, revealing different landscapes in our search for wildlife such as Jaguars, Peccaries, Howler Monkeys and more. Be prepared for surprises along the way!

Journey to the Jaguarland by Charter Flight & Boat

This morning, take a charter flight from Casa Caiman to Porto Jofre, where there will be a boat transfer of approximately 1 hour to your floating hotel accommodation for three nights on the Piquiri River.

The search for Jaguars and other wildlife begins this afternoon with a 4-hour boat outing on the Piquiri River.

Enjoy a short wildlife lecture on a different topic every evening onboard the Jaguar Suites.

Piquiri River Safari

In the mornings and afternoons, set out for boat trips to navigate along the intricate channels of the Piquiri River in pursuit of Jaguars, Giant Otters, Capybaras, Caimans, Hyacinth Macaws and a myriad of other awe-inspiring creatures that call this vibrant ecosystem home.

Journey to Sao Paulo via Cuiaba by Charter & Domestic Flights

From Jaguar Suites, you will be transferred approximately 1 hour by boat to Porto Jofre, where you will board a charter flight to Cuiaba. Then, connect to a domestic flight to Sao Paulo. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.
