Upon your arrival in Tokyo, enjoy a seamless transfer to the train station, where your adventure continues with a picturesque journey to the charming city of Sendai.

Depart for Miyagi with a 2-hour journey, ready to begin your exciting tour of the region.
This morning, make your way to Miyagi Fox Village. This charming wildlife park is home to over 100 foxes of diverse breeds, allowing visitors to observe and interact with these fascinating creatures in a semi-natural environment. Known for its scenic beauty and playful foxes, the village offers a rare and immersive experience with these remarkable animals. The serene natural surroundings become especially enchanting during the vibrant autumn season.
For lunch, enjoy a delightful meal at Mori no Mebuki Tamagoya Zao Main Store (own cost), where you can savor delicious, locally-inspired dishes.
In the afternoon, continue (1hr 15m) to your journey to Zao Okama, the stunning crater lake nestled within the Zao mountain range. Also known as the “Five-Colored Pond,” its vibrant hues shift with the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing spectacle against the rugged volcanic landscape. A popular destination for hiking, the area’s beauty shines year-round but reaches its peak during autumn and winter, when the landscape is ablaze with color.
For dinner, delight in an exquisite culinary experience at Date’s Irori Grill Kura no Sho, where the expertly crafted course menu showcases the finest seasonal ingredients and traditional Japanese flavors.

Visit Zuihoden, the magnificent mausoleum of Date Masamune, one of the most influential feudal lords of the Edo Period (1603-1868). Enjoy a delightful lunch at Azumaya, where you can savor authentic wanko soba in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Wanko soba is a delicacy unique to the Iwate area.
In the afternoon, discover Nambu Tekki, the traditional cast ironware of Iwate Prefecture, renowned for its durability, heat retention, and elegant designs. Arrive at Morioka Station and board the Shinkansen for a comfortable 2-3 hour journey to Tokyo.
