7 Days Le Bon Vivant: Sailing Burgundy in Private

Revered for its prestigious wines and picturesque landscapes, Burgundy provides a refined journey through undulating hills, neatly aligned vineyards and iconic chateaux pairable with Michelin-starred outfits and quaint bistros.

Beautifully furnished in natural linens, handcrafted ironwork and timber wood, Lilas offers four spacious cabins in king or twin arrangement. Sailing across Burgundy’s finest vineyards and chateaux, each cabin is stylishly decorated in floral colour palette of lilacs and cream to complement the region’s richly toned wines.

Available for private charter only, Lilas can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. Additional child beds can be added inside the cabins, bringing the total maximum capacity to 12 guests. With an additional child bed, the cabins would be restricted but still accessible.

For children, Lilas can arrange travel cot, stair gates, high chairs, bikes seats and car seats. If bikes are required, please kindly provide the children’s height and age.

Table d’hôte meals of continental breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room or on the sun deck. All lunches and dinners feature proudly sourced local artisanal fares, paired with regional French wines. Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available throughout the day.

The Burgundy region is famed for its selection of outstanding restaurants and Michelin-starred dining. Early reservations are recommended as these restaurants tend to book up well in advance. Please note that onshore dining will be at your own expense.

Your bon vivant living onboard Lilas is enhanced with your private canopied sun deck with a heated swimming pool. Or you may unwind in the lounge with state-of-the-art amenities including a DVD player, selection of books and board games, Bose iPod docking station with a digital music library, Internet access and WiFi.

A set of boules is available onboard if your group would like to learn this popular French past time beside the towpath. Else, you may also hop on the barge bikes and pedal off into the verdant countryside.
