You will be met and transferred to your accommodation for the night.
Embark on your exploration of Kathmandu with a visit to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, which is Nepal’s biggest stupa, and to Pashupatinath Temple, the country’s most revered Hindu temple.
Continue to Bhaktapur, walking by its ancient medieval heritages such as the Palace of 55 Windows, Taumadhi Square with the five-tiered Nyatapola Temple, Dattatreya Square and Potter’s Square with its Jeth Ganesh Temple.
After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu airport and fly to Pokhara. Visit the World Peace Pagoda and enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake.
Thereafter, we will drive uphill to check-in to your accommodation, enjoy free time at leisure to appreciate the tranquility and spectacular views of the surrounding Annapurna mountain range.
Today, take an approximate 7-hour scenic drive, tracing the Kali Gandaki River northwards to your all-inclusive lodge, Shinta Mani Mustang situated at 2,800m above sea level, where imposing Himalayan peaks can be admired in close proximity. Part of the road will be tarred and part of it will be on sandy and bumpy roads.
Start your morning with a two-hour hike from Shinta Mani Mustang to Dumba Lake and Khutsab Terenga Monastery. Along the way, you will be blessed with stunning views of Kali Gandaki valley, the world’s deepest gorge.
Arriving at the monastery, enjoy an elegant picnic breakfast under an old apricot tree. Then, you have the option to drive or trek into the Marpha Village. Characterized by its traditional stone houses, apple orchards and beautifully painted Buddhist monasteries, this picturesque village offers an authentic glimpse into the rural Nepalese life.
Journey through the rugged landscapes of Jomsom Valley with vantage points of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, river streams or forests. Midway through the trek, let us treat you into a mountaineer-inspired picnic of high-energy foods and a glass of chilled Rosé. This trek can be customized to your preferred length and difficulty level.
Drive one hour to Jharkot. Framed by its iconic gompa, this quaint Tibetan village seems untouched with time. From here, you will take a serene hike through ancient orchards and suspension bridges into the ancient Jhong village, where you will tour a traditional home with a freshly prepared lunch at a monastery with 360-view of the surrounding valleys.
After lunch, proceed to Kagbeni Village to visit the Kag Chode Thupten Samphel Ling Monastery. This ancient monastery is an important Buddhist site attracting pilgrims and tourists alike.
Today’s hike through the Panda Khola River Gorge brings you into the secluded Lubra Village. This 800-year-old hamlet in the heart of Mustang is one of the last remaining strongholds of the ancient Bon Buddhist tradition, a spiritual practice which predates Buddhism.
From the venerable gompa and intriguing cave monastery to local cuisine served on the rooftop of an ancient home, this excursion brings you back in time to experience the unparallel local culture, traditions, and flavors.
This morning, board your helicopter to Kathmandu, approximately 1h 15mins duration. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for the majestic views of Nepal’s landscapes.
On arrival in Kathmandu, transfer for lunch and to the hotel, followed by free time at leisure to explore the beautiful hotel and enjoy the facilities.
Enjoy leisure time in the morning before we whisk you to Durbar Square and enjoy a panoramic city view from Swayambunath.
Enjoy a farewell dinner with cultural dance and folk music. Afterwards, transfer to the airport.
