Arrive in Tirana, the capital of Albania. Lively and colorful, Tirana is now beyond recognition from its grey days of Enver Hoxha. Discover the history and evolution of this dynamic city as we walk through Skanderbeg Square.
Visit the unique Bunk’Art 2 museum, a former Cold War bunker transformed into an immersive historical exhibit.
Take an excursion to Kruja, a historic town about a two-hour drive away. Explore Skanderbeg Fortress, the former stronghold of Albania’s national hero, and wander through the charming Ottoman-style Kruja Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the country.
Embark on a scenic drive south to Butrint, a 5-hour journey offering picturesque views of the countryside and the stunning Ionian coast. Spend your afternoon exploring one of Albania’s most important archaeological sites, a UNESCO treasure with over 2,500 years of Greek, Roman, and Ottoman history. After that, we will proceed to the coastal town of Saranda for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, embark on a 1.5-hour drive to Gjirokastër, the birthplace of dictator Enver Hoxha, where his legacy is deeply woven into the town’s history.
Continue with a 3-hour drive to Çobo Winery for a private wine tasting experience. Then, head to Berat, a UNESCO-listed gem. Stroll through the medieval town, explore the iconic hilltop Berat Castle, and visit the Onufri Iconographic Museum.
Today, we will journey across the border into Montenegro, driving approximately 5 hours from Berat to Budva. Along the way, visit the Old Town of Bar, a remarkable medieval archaeological site.
Take in the breathtaking sight of Sveti Stefan, a coastal gem along the Adriatic Sea.
Afterwards, enjoy a private boat ride on the picturesque Lake Skadar, soaking in the serenity of the surrounding mountains and lush vegetation.
Set out to the Old Town of Budva, one of the oldest settlements along the entire Adriatic coast. Stroll through its alluring ancient streets, city walls, and visit the Budva Citadel.
Next, head to Lipa Cave, one of the largest cave systems in Montenegro, with average temperature of 10°C year-round. Continue to the country’s old capital, Cetinje, with a visit to the National Museum of Montenegro.
Explore the UNESCO-listed Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor. Visit the atmospheric Old Town of Kotor, where you will see landmarks like the impressive city walls, St. Tryphon Cathedral, the Clock Tower, and more. Next, head to Perast, a quaint yet charming coastal town.
Later, take a ride on the Kotor Cable Car to the summit of Mount Lovćen, and be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the bay and the surrounding mountains.
Spend a relaxing morning at your leisure.
In the afternoon, transfer to Tivat Airport for your flight.
