11 DAYS KINGDOMS OF EGYPT
Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Cairo & Sharm El Sheikh
History & Culture
Over 3,000 years of glorious civilization left behind multiple layers of history to unravel along the banks of the legendary Nile River. Immerse in incredible tales of the ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses as you wander through magnificent tombs and temples.
This innovative itinerary allows you to explore all the highlights in maximum depth within a shorter time. While most tourists flock into all-time classics like Giza Pyramids and the monumental Abu Simbel, we will also bring you to hidden gems like the crowd-free Dahshur and no less than 3 secret tombs not usually visited by the public.
Formerly a site of the Ancient Thebes, the great temple complexes and necropolis in Luxor forms the world’s greatest open-air museum and has earned the distinguished UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
Discover iconic sights at the East Bank of Luxor, starting from Karnak Temple Complex with its towering pillars, temples and chapels. Continue to Luxor Museum which exhibits pharaonic art masterpieces collected from the ancient Thebes. We conclude with a sunset visit of Luxor Temples, watch as the graceful temple dedicated to the God Amun becomes illuminated with night lights.
As the new day beckons, board a private motorboat into the West Bank of Luxor. Explore the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, including insider’s access to two VIP tombs not usually visited by tourists. Marvel at the unimaginably beautiful colours and pay respect to the resting place where the former mummy of a king can still be found. Conclude at Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, set amidst the rugged structure of the valley.
Today, we drive south towards Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus, a masterpiece built during the times of King Ptolemy. Continue to Kom Ombo dedicated to the crocodile God of Sobek.
Arriving in Aswan, board a traditional felucca to sail around Kitchener’s Island and stop at the Elephantine Island, where you will disembark to enjoy an afternoon tea at Movenpick Tower with stunning view of the legendary Nile River.
