Your adventure begins at a seasonal water-based lodge in the Xaranna area, where you can immerse yourself in a tranquil oasis of shimmering waters brimming with life. Here, elephants wander gracefully, lions stalk the grasslands, and the haunting call of the fish eagle fills the air as you glide silently through the channels in a mokoro.
Next, you’ll transition to an elegant land-based lodge in the Sandibe area, set against a backdrop of golden savannahs and dense woodlands, where leopards prowl at dawn and antelopes graze in the amber glow of sunset. Every moment here invites you to connect with nature’s profound wonders, all while enjoying exceptional wildlife guiding, luxury, and service.
Upon your arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be greeted for your flight to the Okavango Delta. After landing in the Delta, you’ll be transferred to your seasonal water-based lodge, where your adventure begins.
Designated as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site in 2014, the Okavango Delta serves as a vital wildlife sanctuary. Fed by floodwaters from distant Angola, this seasonal ecosystem is home to a rich diversity of species, including large herds of herbivores, apex predators, and a variety of birdlife.
Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon activities in this extraordinary wilderness sanctuary. Covering 15,000 square kilometers of water channels, lagoons, and islands, the delta offers breathtaking landscapes. Where water levels permit, glide through the channels on a mokoro or enjoy powerboat excursions for an authentic and unobtrusive experience of this remarkable wetland paradise.
You will be met and transferred to the airstrip, where you will board your flight to your land-based lodge. Upon landing, you will be met and transferred to your lodge with a short game drive.
Nestled within a diverse, wildlife-rich private concession, Sandibe boasts exclusive traversing rights over an expansive 22,500 hectares (55,600 acres) of land bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.
Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon activities. The area is teeming with wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot larger predators, as well as herds of elephants, buffalo, and various plains animals roaming through the maze of meandering water channels, papyrus-fringed banks, and floating islands.
