This journey will bring you to both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Take in the stunning view of the UNESCO natural heritages and national parks, feel the lively pulse of Belfast and Dublin and listen to the glorious stories of castles and kings.
Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and start your Belfast’s “Black Taxi Tour”, exploring West Belfast with the Republic and Loyalist murals of Belfast’s fall and Shankill District. In the afternoon, enjoy the city walking tour visiting Cathedral Quarter, Custom House Square, Queen’s Quarter, Titanic Quarter.
Today, we drive 97km/5h to Giant Causeway (UNESCO), defined by interlocking hexagonal columns of basalt rocks. Follow the guide hiking 4km, explore the Carrick-a-Rede Ropeway and visit an Old Bushmill Distillery before returning to Belfast.
Drive 327km/4h to the lovely Galway, touring the Galway Cathedral, the well-preserved ancient wall of Spanish Arch and the Lynch’s Castle. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the bohemian Galway with its bustling entertainment and pub scene.
Set off 46km/1h to Burren National Park with photo stops to admire the magnificent landscape. Continue 35km/40m to the iconic Cliffs of Moher at the Burren’s southwestern edge. Another 112km/2h brings us to the petite Killarney town, famed for excellent shops, restaurants and cosmopolitan appeal.
Today’s excursion brings us to Iveragh Peninsula (Ring of Kerry). Typically taking 4h without stops to complete its 176km, we take a full day drive to soak in the scenic coastline, cliffs and quaint towns. Drive towards the ‘little nest’ of Kenmare, passing sights like Caherdanial, Bolus Head and Doulus Head, ending at Killorglin, and at regular intervals, coming across cafes and gift shops featuring Irish crafts.
Let us whisk you to Killarney National Park with 10,000 hectares of lake and mountain sceneries, with stop at the impressive Torc Waterfall. Drive 308km/3.5h via Kildare’s Irish National Stud with its legendary international horse-racing tradition and 100-year-old Japanese gardens before arriving at the cosmopolitan Dublin, brimming with historical, literary and cultural delights.
Free morning at leisure before your afternoon 4-hour Dublin walking tour. Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral (Ireland’s largest), the 1204-founded Dublin Castle and Trinity College with the 1,200-year-old Books of Kells, famed for its illuminated manuscript Gospel book in Latin. Walk along Georgian squares, statue-lined O’Connell Street, Temple Bar and General Post Office. Conclude with fast-track entrance to Guinness Storehouse to learn how black beers are made.
