Orientation in Tallinn
Upon your arrival at Tallinn airport, you will be greeted by your local guide and start an orientation tour in Tallinn. It covers the most important sights of the city, including Song Festival Grounds, Pirita sailing center, convent of St. Bridget, Kadriorg Park with the 18th century baroque palace, and the residence of the Estonian President nowadays.
Walking through the UNESCO-listed Old Town
The best way to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site – Old Town of Tallin is on foot. A walking tour in the Old Town introduces the building of the Parliament of Estonia, Dome Church (13th century), Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky (19th century), magnificent view of the town from a viewing platform, and many more. Try traditional Estonian drink Vana Tallinn and visit to KUMU Art museum.
Visit Kalamaja
Kalamaja has been Tallinn’s main fishing port since the Middle Ages. By the late 19th century, factories brought thousands of workers to the district. This industrial legacy, seen in landmarks like the Seaplane Harbour Museum and Patarei sea fortress, adds to Kalamaja’s charm. Much of the old infrastructure remains in use today, with former factories now housing restaurants, bars, galleries, and offices.
Nature in Lahemaa National Park
Drive 40 minutes to Lahemaa National Park, located on the northern coast of Estonia. It is perfect for a hiking trip and nature watching. Here you will find lush native forests, wetland stretching to the horizon, stony and sandy seashores, rivers that cut into the limestone cliff. You will visit fishermen’s villages to experience the local way of life. Visit to Vihula manor, where you will try local vodka and hear legends of the manor.
Drive to Tartu
Drive 2 hours to Tartu where you will stay for the night.
Explore Tartu, Valmiermuiza & Cesis
Before heading to Lativa, explore Tartu and visit Estonian National Museum. Drive 2 hours and visit Valmiermuiza Brewery for beer tasting en route. Continue the journey for 1 hour to Cesis. Visit Cesis Castle, one of the most iconic and best preserved medieval castles in Latvia.
Enroute from Cesis to Riga
Drive 2 hours towards Riga. Stop in Ligatne on the way to visit a secret Soviet bunker. Take a short drive down into the river valley, enjoying the landscape and the walk to the 13th century Turaida Castle. A chance to view ‘the garden of Gods’ from the 30-meter-high fortification tower and visit the local history museum.
Explore Riga
Discover Riga’s highlights on a guided journey through its stunning landmarks, charming parks, and historic streets. Enjoy a tasting of the renowned Riga Black Balsam. Rundale Castle & Hill of Crosses
We will drive 4 hours towards Klaipeda, Lithuania, today. Along the way, we’ll visit Rundale Castle to admire the stunning late Baroque palace. Step into elegance with a theatrical excursion that immerses you in the castle’s grandeur, featuring a majestic Baroque-style reception. Our next stop is the world-famous Hill of Crosses near Siauliai, a renowned pilgrimage site exuding calm, spirituality, authenticity, and a sacred atmosphere. Our journey continues to Klaipeda, where you will explore Lithuania’s main seaport and stroll through the old town.
Curonian Spit
A day trip to the Curonian Spit, which separates the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon, offers an unforgettable journey through stunning wild nature. The Spit was formed by the sea, wind and human activity and continues to be shaped by them. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site shared by Lithuania and Russia. Explore its sand dunes, pine forests, and golden beaches, and visit the Hill of Witches in Juodkrantė, where over a hundred whimsical wooden sculptures adorn a forest path. Enjoy a boat trip along the dunes. Visit an Amber gallery to understand more of the “Lithuanian gold”.
Discover Kaunas
Drive 2 hours to Kaunas. Enjoy a walking tour in the second largest city and the interim capital of Lithuania between two world wars. Private tour to visit an Art Deco flat in Kaunas.
