Drive 1 hour to Qingyan Ancient Town, a well-preserved Ming-era town with cobbled streets, ancient city walls, stone archways, and timeworn temples. Wander through historical alleyways, discover traditional courtyard homes, and savour local delicacies.
Continue your journey for 2 hours to Gaodang Bouyei Heritage Village, an ancient settlement of the Bouyei people, one of Guizhou’s many ethnic minorities. Famous for its distinctive stone architecture and rich cultural traditions, the village offers a glimpse into the Bouyei way of life. Experience a batik dyeing demonstration, showcasing intricate techniques and symbolic patterns. Afterward, drive to Huangguoshu and settle into your boutique retreat for the evening.
Spend a full day exploring the stunning Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, home to China’s largest waterfall, cascading 77 meters into a misty gorge.
