Itinerary
Arrival in Phnom Penh
Arriving into Phnom Penh International Airport, we transfer to your hotel to check-in. Choose from one of the below half-day afternoon tour:
Option A: Phnom Penh Highlights by Cyclo. Discover highlights such as Wat Phnom, Royal Palace which houses over 5,000 heavy silver tiles and National Museum.
Option B: Khmer Architecture by Tuk-Tuk. Gain insights into the country’s political and cultural situations circa 1950-1960s. Unravel an eclectic mix of European, Russian and American heritage buildings before heading to Khema La Poste and an atmospheric bar.
For those with time, you can extend 1-2 nights in Phnom Penh to visit National Museum Arts Gallery with an Expert, or dive into Cambodia’s dark past at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields.
Phnom Penh / Cardamom National Park
This morning, you will board a direct flight from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville (Wed, Thu & Sat only), where you will be transferred 2.5-4 hours, depending on your choice of wilderness glamping tent, ringed around the lush jungles of Cardamom Mountains.
Cardamom National Park
Depending on your glamping choice, enrol in wilderness activities such as river kayaking, jungle hiking, waterfall discovery, mountain biking, anti-poaching patrolling, foraging and cooking class. Keep your eyes peeled for macaques, gibbons and hornbills. (Some activities may be chargeable.)
Cardamom National Park / Siem Reap
Today, you will be transferred to Sihanoukville International Airport for your onward flights to Siem Reap.
Enjoy destination dining at Villa Chandara. At 2.30pm, you will be transferred to board a boat through the Baray, a complex Angkorian rice irrigation system, followed by a 10-minute walk to a romantic countryside dinner with cocktails in hand. You will return to hotel at 8.30pm.
If your flight arrives later, we will replace the destination dining with sunset gondola ride with champagne and canapes, where you will ascend through the ramparts of Prasat Chrung Temple before returning to the South Gate of the city.
Siem Reap
Rise early for Angkor Wat sunrise from the back of the temple. Once the morning light bathes the temple, we head inside to admire the chambers filled with Apsara dancers and celestial Hindu mythologies. After a tasty champagne breakfast at Srah Srang Lake’s quiet corner, enjoy specialist archaeological tour visiting Ta Prohm overgrown with trees and vines as immortalized in Angelina Jolie’s “Tomb Raider”, Bayon with 52 towers of Buddha faces, as well as Angkor Thom with its Terrace of the Elephants.
For those with more time, we absolutely recommend extending 1-2 nights in Siem Reap to channel your inner Indiana Jones on lesser-known temple highlights away from the crowd.
Departure from Siem Reap
Depending on your flight times, we can observe Tonle Sap’s village lives at Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Board a local boat to visit either Kompong Phluk or Kompong Khleang’s stilt houses (Jun-Mar only, will be replaced with Chong Kneas in dry season) before transferring to airport.
